Cured Ringworm with Soap Nut spray July 20, 2011

The cat (Rastlin) had two visible patches of ringworm. The largest was about the size of a 50 cent piece on his belly and the second was about the size of a 5 cent on his paw. We sprayed the affected areas twice a day for 3 days and from there it has cleared up. Much cheaper than vet fees and icky ointment!

Ned was photographed today. It seems he will soon be appearing in a couple of national magazines. He came home a little puffed up with pride. So many people want to hear about how well soap nuts can clean stuff.

There is a family of SoapNuts living on a shelf in our laundry. They have set up home behind a box of oxygen bleach and a stack of towels.

The family consists of Ned and his wife (TotlyNuts), and six little SoapNuts who go by the names of Benny, Duska, Nate, Jimmy, Matty and Dillabub.

Ned is particularly tired today as he poked his head out of the cupboard and wound up going through a wash cycle. He has come home complaining about the stresses of a hot water wash.
